Going back to last season the Spurgeon/Suter combo has not been overly effective and Spurgeon is prone to being out-muscled, especially come playoff time. This is why I am a big proponent of trading him before he either gets seriously injured or just less effective because of the physical play. For now though I would like to see Suter playing less minutes while mentoring Dumba. Id like to see for the long haul this season:

Spurgeon/Scandella
Dumba/Suter
Folin/Brodin

This keeps Suter fresh for the playoffs where he can once again take top line minutes with either Brodin or a seasoned Dumba. Either way the Wild are going to have their hands full tonight, imo.

Lowe is not president of the Oilers. Lowe had been transferred away from hockey operations entirely last summer, and works in the marketing side now. The Oilers are Chiarelli's team now.
